Overview
Alsatian Hub brings together, in a single web and desktop app, the tools a small project usually has scattered around: notes, tasks, documents, GitHub issues, time tracking and content publishing.
The interface works as a project-centred “second brain”: a project sidebar, a home screen with quick capture, an inbox and per-project tabs. It is built in phases, and each phase documents its limits.

Key features
- 01
Linked notes
Autosave, [[wiki]] links and backlinks, with global search via Ctrl K.
- 02
Reviewed GitHub workflow
Paginated issues, reviewed issue creation, prompt generation, branch preparation and draft pull requests. It never merges or deploys on its own.
- 03
Serverless sign-in
On desktop, a GitHub App with Device Flow: no server and no client_secret, with tokens in the system credential store.
- 04
Time tracking
Sessions with pause and resume, checkpoint recovery and per-project totals on the global dashboard.
- 05
Documents
Markdown editing with a sanitised preview, conflict-safe saving and export to HTML and DOCX.
- 06
Publishing as pull requests
Web content is prepared as local drafts and published as a draft pull request: human review has the final say.
