Overview
TotalRematch is a Spanish-speaking gaming community born around REMATCH, by Sloclap. A growing community needs more than a Discord server: a place to explain what it is, announce events, publish news and run tournaments without spreadsheets.
The project has two parts: a static website built with Astro and hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which replaced an earlier Odoo site, and a tournament manager integrated into the same site, backed by Firebase.

Key features
- 01
Content as data
Events and blog posts are typed content collections: adding an event means writing a file.
- 02
SEO solved at build time
Canonical URLs, structured data and a sitemap dated from Git history. The build fails if the sitemap contains non-canonical URLs.
- 03
Migration from Odoo
Permanent redirects keep the old addresses that still appeared in search engines alive.
- 04
Four tournament formats
League, single elimination, double elimination and Swiss system, with brackets drawn by a custom renderer.
- 05
Roles and permissions
Sign-in with Firebase Authentication. A super-admin assigns admins, and each admin only sees their own tournaments.
- 06
Security and previews
Security headers and automatic noindex on preview deployments.
